A digital flatbed printer prints directly onto a great number of print media or substrates, rigid or flexible, that are flat surfaced or slightly curved within a maximum concave-convex discrepancy of 5mm.

KMAJET uses the latest piezoelectric DOD drop-on-demand inkjet printing technology. It prints directly on the print media using high speed print head with 1440 nozzles and variable ink drop sizes as small as 1.5 picoliters, delivering fine prints of great details.

A great variety of materials can be printed with KMAJET, ranging from leather, plastic (PC, PVC.ABS.PU, PP,PE, etc.),textile, wood, glass, metal, bamboo, ceramic, crystal to acrylic, stone, aluminum etc.

The max resolution KMAJET models can reach is 2880dpi*2880dppi, meeting the requirement of hi-definition for high-end products.

Compared with UV flatbed printer, KMAJET flatbed printer features:

First, Low start-up cost: The cost of a UV flatbed printer ranges from 200000RMB to 400000RMB while that of a flatbed inkjet printer is 5 times cheaper. Besides, A UV flatbed printer entails higher maintenance cost including higher print head replacement cost.

Second, high resolution: KMAJET flatbed printer prints with a maximum print resolution of 5760DPI while that of a UV flatbed printer is 1440DPI.

Third, safety guaranty: UV flatbed printer generates ultraviolent radiation that is harmful to human health, which is not a concern with KMAJET flatbed printer.

Forth, wide application range: UV-curable inks are susceptible to cracking if applied to a flexible substrate, while both rigid and flexible substrate can be printed using KMAJET flatbed printer.

The Process: A different screen for each color to be printed is required with screen printing and each screen must be lined up evenly to make a clear image, which takes a highly skilled hand to perform. Digital printing is almost completely automated and prints all colors at the same time, requiring less personal involvement and technical skill in the printing process.

Printing Speed: A digital printer processes all the colors at once and, overall, runs at a relatively slower speed than the traditional screen printer.

Print Detail: Images for screen printing have to be simple in design and reduced to definite lines and shapes, while a digital printer takes a design directly from a computer and replicate every detail. Besides, designs for screen printing are often limited to a color range of 3-4 colors due to the complexity of the printing process, while there is no such limitation with digital printing,

Both aqueous ink and mild/Eco-Solvent ink are compatible with KMAJET. The use of which depends on the substrate to be printed.

Inks are supplied from ink bottles of high volume which is easily refillable, reducing the cost of ink replacement compared to sealed ink cartridge systems used by other systems.

The printing time depends on the design, size , material and the ink used. Normally, with KMA02H, KMA430, KMA610, KMA1100 and KMA120, It takes a mere 74 seconds for a typical A4-size design at 1440dpi. It takes 111 seconds using KMA02+.

The printer connects to the computer via a USB 2.0 port

KMAJET requires less maintenance than any other equipment of its kind and all KMAJET models have the feature of Auto Print Head Maintenance. Our recommended maintenance is only a weekly cleaning of the Maintenance Station and Wiper Blade and a more thorough cleaning is recommended when preparing for a long period of non-use.

Most customers need proper training to get the most out of a flatbed printer. We provide our customers with a variety of training and support programs, including video training programs, on-line technical support and other resources available in our website.

Yes, of course. For you to have a personal visual experience of the super quality of the prints made by our printers, we strongly recommend that you send us some unprinted items to make printed samples together with a video showing each and every process.

Yes ,our printer is shipped together with a power cord, USB cable , print head cleaning syringe and all those accessories needed for it to run properly. All you need to do is get a computer.

You need a PC on Windows XP or Windows Vista in order to run the KMAJET printer program. The KMAJET print driver and RIP software do not require a high capacity computer, but the graphics programs usually require a lot of computing power.

You may choose to order those spare parts directly from us and we’ll send them to you within 48 working hours, or you can buy them from other sources. They are easily available in your own domestic market.

Not necessarily, however, we do not guarantee the compatibility of other ink sources not recommended by KMAJET with our printers. You need to run the tests by yourself.
